Agent Platform

Introduction
As is outlined in the [Standards], Agent Platforms are the heart of any deployment environment for multi-agent systems. Broadly speaking, they are responsible for managing the creation, termination and execution of agents; and the provision of shared resources in the form of Platform Services.
Within Agent Factory, an Agent Platform provides the following features:
- support for the deployment of Platform Services;
- a Scheduler for agents that reside on the platform;
- an Agent Container, the place where the agents actually reside;
- support for visualisation tools; and
- support for the specification of an initial agent community via the Agent Platform Script.
